Karthikeyan Pitchaimallian, a Chennai-based painter and sculptor. Born and raised in Aruppukottai, rural Tamil Nadu, India. An artist inspired by natural forms, ecosystems, and elephants, I am producing an unsettling body of work that is public yet deeply personal. Elephants used to be very fascinating, mythical, admiring, and artistic to me.
